Rehearsal dates: August 11 to September 3, weekdays daytime and occasional weekend.
Requires: 16 cast members, ages 15-25, men and women.
Notes:
- As this is an adaptation, all roles are open to potentially be gender swapped depending on who auditions. Feel free to state any character you might prefer regardless of gender.
- Many cast members will play multiple roles
Synopsis: “Cannibal! The Musical” is the true story of the only person convicted of cannibalism in America - Alferd Packer. The sole survivor of an ill-fated trip to the Colorado Territory, he tells his side of the harrowing tale to news reporter Polly Pry as he awaits his execution. And his story goes like this: While searching for gold and love in the Colorado Territory, he and his companions lost their way and resorted to unthinkable horrors, including toe-tapping songs!

Please prepare one musical theatre song (16 bars). Please, no contemporary or pop/rock songs. An accompanist will be provided. Please bring your sheet music, resume and head shot (8 X 10 or larger photo preferred, can be a photocopy).
On resume, please detail any “special skills” as well, eg. Tap dance, movement/dance training, juggling, etc.
Callbacks will include a dance call.
This production is non-equity.
