WHO:

Awkward Stage Productions is accepting submissions from post-secondary theatre graduates interested in developing as directors, producers, designers and stage managers

WHAT:

The SEED project is a mentored ensemble of emerging theatre artists who are given means, methods, and mentorship to self-produce a musical theatrical production from concept to auditions to performance, under the auspices of Awkward Stage Productions’ professional production and directorial team. Artists receive production funds and ongoing coaching for the duration of the project, determine ticket costs, and decide how the potential revenue should be shared within the ensemble.

WHEN:

Deadline for submissions is July 18, 2014 and performances are set for the spring of 2015. You must be able to commit substantial time in 2015.

HOW:

Email the following to [email protected]:

• Your name and contact info, and if applying as an ensemble,
• The names and contact info of all members of your production team
• Your resume (team’s resumes)
• What musical you would like to stage and why, or what type of show you would be interested in producing
• Tell us how you would benefit from this mentorship opportunity
